What are your hours of operation?
We are a kitchen council approved home-based business. So my work schedule is a bit different and tailored to my availabilities (cool huh?).
I have to work around when Luca has his naps and his bed time - so sometimes I may take a bit longer to respond to enquires. Sometimes you will get an email from me at 1am or 5am. I try to get as much work done as I can, when I can.
So really my admin days are Monday - Wednesdays.
Thursday - Sunday is baking and market days.
Friday - Saturday is pick up and delivery days.
It is hard for me to put all my focus on baking when Luca is around… Thank god for childcare! So that is why I cannot make orders from Monday - Thursday.
How much notice do I need for an order?
As I am a one woman band, I tend to fill up quite quickly. So get to me ASAP to avoid disappointment. In a perfect world, 3 weeks notice would be super handy. However, where possible I can make last minute orders happen.
Please note, for large custom orders, I will need at least weeks notice.
During peak times such as Christmas, Valentines, Mothers day etc I usually fill up very quickly, and most of the time won’t be able to take custom orders.
Do you make the deliveries?
It will either be myself or Ricky making deliveries… usually Ricky because he likes to drive! You can view our delivery zones here.
Who makes the products?
100% me! And on the occasion Ricky will lend a hand whenever he can.
Where do your ingredients come from?
If you head to the homepage, you will see a list of ingredients used and where they are from. I am an absolute believer in buying and supporting local.. like seriously, the eggs are from a farm down the road from us.
If I find products that share the same values as we do, of course I will make the switch. So if you are a local supplier, contact me. Always want to support my neighbours. Plus, Australian produce is so damn good!
Do you cater to allergens?
Unfortunately this is not possible. As we are in the one kitchen that does use all types of ingredients that some may be allergic to, they still may contain traces. We try our absolute best to avoid cross contamination, however, for the safety of those with serious allergies, we do not recommend our products.
Allergen friendly vs allergen free products
Gluten free and dairy free gets thrown around a lot and can be hard to distinguish between gluten friendly and dairy friendly products. The key word is FREE. Products that claim to be FREE from any allergen, means that it comes from a kitchen/factory that does not use those products at all in there.
Allergen Friendly - although the product may not use the allergen ingredient, it may still contain traces because it is used in the kitchen.
Example: I take my cake out of the oven that contains gluten. I need to make space on the bench and move the cake that does not contain gluten aside.
Can I order to pick up from the market?
You absolutely can! And is defiantly encouraged! Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for all the latest goss, I usually post the menu the day before the market. And if you are even more keen, contact me 2 weeks before so we can add some personalised cookies to make it extra special.
How do I place an order?
Each page will have a specific form at the bottom for orders, if you would like a mixed order like cookies and brownies, you can pop that in the message box. I will get back to you as quickly as possible (it can take up to 24 hours, a couple days if it is over the weekend. As I am most likely at a market, and then I just pass out on the couch afterwards haha).
How do I make payment?
Once I have confirmed your order, I will then send you the details for payment. Whether it is bank deposit or credit card.
Please note, when filling out the order form, it is only an enquiry and not a confirmed booking.
If you have another questions that you feel like I have not answered on here, please let me know.
